Disadvantages:

Poor welding performance, prone to cracking and porosity during the welding process. Therefore, in situations where welding is required, special welding processes and welding materials need to be used.

The hardenability is relatively low, and for some large parts, special quenching processes may be required to obtain uniform hardness and microstructure.
